SUMMARY:Open day at the music school
DESCRIPTION:Music school open day\, 09.05.2026 \nOn Saturday\, May 10\, the Radolfzell Music School will be holding its Open Day. Anyone interested can try out instruments\, listen to teachers and pupils\, join in\, be amazed and get into conversation.You will have the opportunity to get to know the building\, the various instruments\, offers and teachers. The opening concert will take place at 11 a.m. in the Beethovensaal.   \nAfterwards\, the house\, courtyard and all doors are open to everyone until around 2 pm. There is a lot to experience\, the orchestras and ensembles of the music school perform and the Accordion Orchestra Radolfzell e.V. also presents itself. Pupils\, together with their teachers\, let us hear and see what they learn and do at the music school.  Weather permitting\, there will once again be activities in the courtyard and\, of course\, hungry and thirsty people will also find what they are looking for: the music school’s parents’ council will take care of the catering. You can sit outside in a cozy atmosphere to eat\, drink and listen to the music.  \nEveryone involved in the music school is looking forward to a lot of life in and around the building and to meeting interested people – welcome!

SUMMARY:Mother's Day concert
DESCRIPTION:Radolfzell celebrates – Mother’s Day meets the town’s anniversary! The traditional Mother’s Day concert of the Radolfzell Music School will be a very special event in 2026: in addition to Mother’s Day\, the focus will be on the town’s big anniversary. Various orchestras and ensembles from the music school will be performing in the Markolfhalle\, including the KidsBO wind orchestra\, the guitar ensemble and the pop choir. The three string orchestras – Streicherminis\, Wirbelwind and Kammerorchester+ – will perform a joint work specially prepared for the occasion.   Moving melodies and atmospheric performances promise an unforgettable concert experience.   \nAdmission is free. Donations to the Friends and Sponsors of the Radolfzell Music School are welcome.

SUMMARY:City garden concerts of the music school
DESCRIPTION:Enchanting sounds in the middle of a green oasis: the music school’s city garden concerts are one of the wonderful opportunities in Radolfzell to experience music live in a unique atmosphere. On three Thursdays in July\, children and young people from Radolfzell transform the Stadtgarten pavilion into a musical stage. They will play on 02.07.2026\, 09.07.2026 and 16.07.2026\, starting at 17.00 each day. SUMMARY:International Summer Academy Radolfzell
DESCRIPTION:Since 1994\, the master classes have been attracting students from all over the world to the lake and have presented enthusiastic audiences with a series of performances. \nAnke Dill\, Gustav Rivinius and Florian Wiek\, outstanding international musicians and renowned university professors\, lead the masterclasses in violin\, cello and piano. They traditionally open the academy with the lecturers’ concert on August 4 in the Christuskirche.  \nDuring the daily master classes in the following week\, interested visitors can directly follow the honing of technique and interpretation and experience the young course participants and their results on various concert stages in a series of open-air and evening concerts. \n  The highlight of the summer academy is the final concert and award ceremony in the Christuskirche. This is followed in September by the conducting master class under the direction of Zurich professor Johannes Schlaefli.
