“360° explorer concert”
30. March | 17:00 bis 19:00 Uhr

On Sunday, 30.03.2025, the Milchwerk Radolfzell will once again be collaborating with the Trossingen University of Music as part of the “Schaufenster Musikstadt – zwei Musikstädte begegnen sich” series. The university’s student chamber orchestra will make a guest appearance at the Milchwerk and treat visitors’ ears to two concerts.
Under the title “Musical world tour”, there will be an educational concert for children from the age of six at 2.00 pm. Together with music educator Amelie Schirmer from the Radolfzell Municipal Music School, the children will discover composers from different countries and immerse themselves in their music in a playful and creative way.
At 5 p.m., the string orchestra, conducted by Sebastian Gwilt and Alexander Schirmer, will play works by Vivaldi, Veress, Elgar, Barber and Shostakovich. This “360° discovery concert” gives listeners the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of music with all their senses. The usual barrier between stage and audience is dissolved by a new seating arrangement around the orchestra. This allows guests to literally look over the performers’ shoulders during the concert evening, so that music can be experienced up close.
